Hello #blogfam,
Eid-ul-Fitr is around the corner, so me and my friend Divya got together to share our Eid outfit looks with you all. Before we share our looks, let us read about Eid-ul-Fitr and importance of this festival for Muslims.
About Eid-ul-Fitr
Eid-ul-Fitr is an important religious festival for Muslims that is celebrated to mark the end of Ramadan. Ramadan is the Islamic Holy month of fasting. Muslims fast for 29 or 30 days from the dawn to the sunset. At the end of Ramadan, Muslims offer prayers and wish 'Eid Mubarak' to their family, relatives and friends. Immediate relatives and kids are also given gifts known as 'Eidi'. They also prepare sweet dish named as 'Sewaiyan' and enjoy having it with all.
Eid Outfit Look-1
Green colour has traditional association in Islam (In Quran, it is associated with paradise), so I wanted to create traditional green outfit look. I picked up Libas Women's Gold Foil Printed Skirt Style Kurti with Adjustable Side Dori.
Outfit Detailing...
This outfit is made of best quality crepe that can be worn on special occasions like Eid-ul-Fitr, weddings or any other family occasion. I wore an anarkali style kurta. The top of the kurta has golden foil print on green base. The top also has golden border to differentiate the top with the lower part of the kurta.
Extra Detailing...
The kurta has adjustable side dori hangings with which you can loosen or tighten the top according to your body size. The sleeves are plain green in colour with a printed foil border at the end.
The Twirling Skirt Kurta...
The lower part of the kurta is an anarkali skirt with golden border. The area of the lower skirt is large enough for you to hold and twirl in joy.
Add Some Glam...
Never forget to add some glam in your outfit looks with makeup and jewellery. I wore simple makeup look with a winged eyeliner and magenta lipstick. I also wore a silver clip-on nose ring.
Wearing matching jewellery always completes the outfit look. Here, I wore light-weight golden earrings with green beads at the bottom.
Eid Outfit Look-2
Divya wanted to go for a simple yet elegant look. To match the joy of the festivity, she decided to slay her look in a plum coloured outfit. She picked up Libas Womens Plum A-line Kurta and Plazzo set. She completed the look with an embroidered Phulkari dupatta.
Outfit Detailing...
Her outfit is made up of cotton that can be worn in any season. She wore a long A-line kurta. The 3/4th sleeves of the kurta are plain in colour with a zigzag golden design at the end of each sleeve.
The Plazzo Detailing...
She wore a solid coloured plazzo with golden lined design at the bottom. The plazzo is a loose pant worn with kurtas to complete the look. It has two pockets (one on each side) and is quite comfortable to wear in summers.
Phulkari Dupatta...
Not to miss her beautiful embroidered phulkari dupatta. It has colourful embroidery design all over that makes it look beautiful with any solid coloured outfit.
Add Some Glam...
Divya is a pro when it comes to doing makeup. She wore a full glam makeup look with nude lipstick that complimented well with her outfit. As it is festive time, so she added some extra glamour with her long golden tassel earrings and heatless curled hair.
Footwear...
Being Punjabis, our love for Juttis can never fade away. Both of us wore multi-coloured embroidered juttis to match our respective outfits.
Eid Mubarak to All! May Allah Bless You All With the Best.
